Super Jinsei Game can be summarized as a slightly above average Super Famicom video game. If you can spare 60 minutes and can understand the language, it could possibly be the most realistic variation of the "Game of Life" to never be released in North America. There is a divorce, marriage, childbirth, taxes, education, and even gender-specific occupations. In the North American versions, anyone can be a doctor or a salesperson. But in this game, there are gender restrictions to some of the occupations. Even getting through the childhood component of the game is a long haul. However, the player's college education can be abruptly halted if a single player gets to the first tax square before anyone else. Those who didn't get their schooling finished will probably end up being welfare recipients for most of the game.

Gan Gan Ganchan is a colorful maze/action game by Magifact that borrows numerous elements and gameplay mechanics from the arcade classic Pac Man with a few notable exceptions. The player takes control of a cute little star called Ganchan, and his mission is to collect four colored creatures (shaped like spheres or cones) of each color (red, yellow, blue and green) and to bring them to an exit door located somewhere in each level. Once these creatures have been collected, four colored keys appear and must be picked up to finally unlock the exit door. But things are not as easy as they seem - Gachan, in a way similar to Pac Man, always moves forward until he meets a wall, or until the player decides to steer him left or right. Ganchan's stamina is also an important part of the gameplay (the bar is located at the upper/left corner of the screen) - our hero constantly consumes energy and the only way for him to regain his lost stamina is to guide more creatures to the exit door. Enemies are also dotted around each level and relentlessly hunt down Gachan - some are slow whereas others, later in the game, can fire projectiles or move at incredible speeds. However, players have three tricks up their sleeves. In desperate situations, they can use some of their stamina and outrun any foes that challenge them. Another trick is to quickly turn into a stone-live creature that temporarily knocks out enemies, or to throw previously collected creatures (who follow Ganchan in a long line) and use them as projectiles. Finally, all kind of power-ups are released when Ganchan guide enough creatures to the exit door - they range from super bombs to protective shields. Gan Gan Ganchan features four different worlds, a password system and a two player versus mode.

Mario's Time Machine is an educational video game originally released for MS-DOS and then for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System consoles. The Software Toolworks both developed and published the MS-DOS and Super NES versions in 1993, while the NES version was developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Nintendo in 1994. The MS-DOS version was re-released as Mario's Time Machine Deluxe in 1996.

Mario's Time Machine is one of several educational Mario video games that were released during the early 1990s; the game focuses on teaching human history. The Humans is a puzzle game published and released by GameTek in 1992. The goal of The Humans varies per level, but is usually to bring at least one of the player-controlled humans to the designated end area, marked by a red tile. To do this, the player must take advantage of the humans' ability to build a human ladder and use tools, such as spears, torches, wheels, ropes, in later levels, a witch doctor. The Humans was released for many different consoles, with the Jaguar and Lynx versions, published by Atari, titled Evolution: Dino Dudes and Dinolympics respectively. Two sequels have been released: The Humans 2: The Jurassic Levels for Amiga and PC, and The Humans III: Evolution—Lost in Time... for Amiga (AGA) and PC. In 2009, it was rereleased for Windows under the name The Humans: Meet the Ancestors! Upon its release, The Humans was received very well, praised for its originality and decent graphics and music.

Wordtris, stylized as WORDTЯIS, is a Tetris offshoot designed by Alexey Pajitnov and published by Spectrum Holobyte in 1991 for the IBM PC platform. The title was later released for the Game Boy (ported by Realtime Associates) and Super Nintendo game console in 1992.

The object of the game is to build words of three letters or more using the tiles that fall from the top of the playing area. Words can be constructed horizontally or vertically, and multiple words can overlap each other. If the player manages to construct the magic word at the top of the screen, the well will be cleared of all tiles and the player will receive a large bonus.

Occasionally, a free tile (denoted by a "?") will drop. Its letter can be selected by the player (either by typing it in the PC version, or scrolling through letters with a button on the console versions). If the player does not choose a letter, the block will become a random letter when it stops. Eraser blocks will fall and remove whatever letter that they land on (in the SNES version, the eraser is replaced with bombs and vials of acid).

In the Super Nintendo version, players advance from levels "A" to "J."^[1] There is no level after "J."

The 1989 version of Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego? is a multiplatform video game where players have to travel through time to collect the clue and the warrant necessary to capture Carmen Sandiego or one of her henchmen. The goal of this game is to track Carmen's villains through history and arrest them and ultimately arrest Carmen herself.

Similar to World, the player plays as a secret agent for the Acme Detective Agency, and has to use the research books to crack the clues given to them on where the crook went to, and also decode the physical attributes or interests of the crook based on other clues. They must achieve both these objectives in order to secure an arrest warrant, which allows them to identify the person at the end of the case as the crook. The player travels through time and space with a device known within the Carmen Sandiego universe as the Chronoskimmer. The game is time limited, and every action one takes uses up some of that time; the player needs to solve the case within the allotted time in order to be successful. As well as teaching the player about both geography and history it also provides practice with using a research book – the New American Desk Encyclopedia comes with the game for assistance. The people, events, and inventions featured in the game hail from period in history ranging from 400 AD to the 1950s – the past 1500 years of human history. The game comes with a 28-page instruction manual.
