Parodius! From Myth to Laughter (パロディウスだ! －神話からお笑いへ－ Parodiusu Da! Shinwa kara Owarai e?, lit. "It's Parodius! From Myth to Laughter"), released outside of Japan as Parodius, is a shoot'em up arcade game and is the second title in the Parodius series produced by Konami. The European SNES version is also known as Parodius: Non-Sense Fantasy. The gameplay is stylistically very similar to the Gradius series, but the graphics and music are intentionally absurd.This game is often mistaken as the original game of the series. The lesser known original game, Parodius: The Octopus Saves the Earth, was released for the MSX computer in Japan.

Pebble Beach Golf Links is a golf course on the west coast of the United States, located in Pebble Beach, California. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful courses in the world, it hugs the rugged coastline and has wide open views of Carmel Bay, opening to the Pacific Ocean, on the south side of the Monterey Peninsula. The PGA Tour and Champions Tour play annual events at Pebble Beach and it has hosted six major championships: five U.S. Opens and a PGA Championship. The course is included in many golf video games, such as the Links series and the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series.

Phantom 2040 is a French-American animated science fiction television series loosely based on the comic strip hero The Phantom, created by Lee Falk. The central character of the series is said to be the 24th Phantom. The show was developed for television by executive producer David J Corbett and executive story editors Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens. In addition to story-editing both seasons, the Reeves-Stevens devised the show's writers' bible, scripted the two-part pilot (Generation Unto Generation) and personally scripted most of the show's key episodes. The unusual character designs were the distinctive work of Peter Chung, creator of Æon Flux. The show debuted in 1994 to rave reviews, though it survived only 35 episodes before it was relegated to weekend repeats in 1996. Along with action sequences, stories focused on intelligent plotting and character development, winning the series praise for its subtle teaching of such values as individuality, freedom and the volatility of humanity. Along with Andrea Romano's equally pioneering work on Batman: The Animated Series, Stuart M. Rosen's voice direction on Phantom 2040 had a lasting impact on animated adventure television. Romano and Rosen cast accomplished dramatic actors and introduced a new level of maturity and complexity to their show's vocal performances that set the standard for all TV animation that followed. Phantom 2040's unique voice cast included Scott Valentine, Margot Kidder, Ron Perlman, Leah Remini, J.D. Hall, Alan Oppenheimer, Richard Lynch and Jeff Bennett - while Mark Hamill, Debbie Harry, Rob Paulsen and Paul Williams had recurring roles. The show inspired a four-part tie-in comic book series illustrated by legendary Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko.

Pocky & Rocky, known in Japan as KiKi KaiKai: Nazo no Kuro Mantle (奇々怪界～謎の黒マント?, "Mysterious Ghost World: The Riddle of the Black Mantle"), is an arcade-style scrolling shooter video game with an anime graphical style. Licensed by Taito to Natsume, who developed and published the game for release in Japan in 1992 and the rest of the world in 1993, it is the sequel to the 1986 arcade game KiKi KaiKai (unofficially released in North America as Knight Boy).Pocky & Rocky follows the adventures of a young Shinto shrine maiden named Pocky (known in Japan as Sayo-chan (小夜ちゃん?)) and her new companion, Rocky the Tanuki, or raccoon (known in Japan as Manuke (魔奴化?)) trying to save a group of creatures known as the Nopino Goblins. It was generally well received by critics, and the graphics of the game were especially noted. Pocky & Rocky was followed by Pocky & Rocky 2.

Pop'n Twinbee (Pop'nツインビー?) is a top-view shoot-'em-up game originally released in 1993 by Konami for the Super Famicom/Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan and Europe. It is the sixth game in the TwinBee and a direct follow-up to the arcade game Detana!! TwinBee (Bells & Whistles). The European version was published by Konami's Palcom Software division and was the first of three TwinBee games localized for the European market, followed by a Game Boy version of Pop'n TwinBee (which was actually an earlier game titled TwinBee Da!! in Japan) and the side-scrolling platform game Pop'n TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventures.

Populous II: Trials of the Olympian Gods is a 1991 strategy video game in the Populous series for the Amiga, Atari ST and MS-DOS-based computers, developed by Bullfrog Productions. Populous II was remade and remastered for the Nintendo DS in 2008. Populous II is a direct sequel to Bullfrog's earlier game Populous and is one of the company's most notable games.Like its predecessor, Populous II is a god game, where the player is guiding his people in battle against the followers of an enemy god. Whereas Populous only generally alluded to undefined deities, Populous II is specifically set under the backdrop of Greek mythology. The player is a demigod, one of Zeus's countless children with mortal women, and has to battle one Greek deity at a time until finally facing his father. Zeus has promised to let the player into the Pantheon on Olympus if he can survive all the battles.A data disk was also released for Populous II, titled Populous II: The Challenge Games. This was set in Japanese mythology instead of Greek, and had each level as its individual challenge, slightly in the style of a puzzle game.
