Front Mission (フロントミッション, Furonto Misshon?) is a collection of video games and related media produced by Square, now Square Enix. The series was created by Toshiro Tsuchida and developed by G-Craft, a studio that was later absorbed by Square and existed within Square Enix as Product Development Division-6. Since the release of the original Front Mission in 1995, the series has gone on to encompass several media, including film, manga, novels, radio dramas, mobile phone applications, and toys. While the series is primarily rooted in the turn-based tactical role-playing genre, it has also ventured into other genres such as side-scrolling shooter, real-time strategy (RTS), massive multiplayer online (MMO), and third-person shooter through its spin-offs. The Front Mission video games have achieved moderate success, selling over 3 million units worldwide since the release of Front Mission 5: Scars of the War.The main selling point of Front Mission is its storytelling approach. Taking place during the 21st and 22nd centuries, the series revolves around military conflicts and political tension between powerful supranational unions and their member states. Although the Front Mission video games use self-contained, standalone stories, these tie into a greater overarching storyline that encompasses the entire series. In combination with the stories from its other media, the series possesses a level of storytelling depth and continuity comparable to a serial drama. Another major draw of Front Mission is its use of giant mecha called "wanzers" (from the German word Wanderpanzer, or walking tanks) in battle.

Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer (不思議のダンジョン２ 風来のシレン Fushigi no Dungeon 2: Fūrai no Shiren) is a graphical roguelike by Chunsoft. It is the second videogame in the Mystery Dungeon series, and the first game in the series to feature all original characters. It was originally released for the Super Famicom in 1995, and has subsequently been ported to the Game Boy and Nintendo DS.In September 2007 Sega announced that they would release the DS version in North America.[1] It was then released March 4, 2008. Although "Shiren" is the name of the primary character, the Japanese title is a pun; while "Shiren the Wanderer" is the official English title for the game, "風来のシレン" can also translate as "The Wanderer's Ordeals".

Ganbare Goemon (がんばれゴエモン?, lit. "Go for it, Goemon!"), known as Goemon or Mystical Ninja in North America and the PAL region, is a long-running video game series produced by Konami. Ebisu Etsunobu is the joint producer of this franchise.These games revolve around the main character, Goemon, and his exploits. As the name suggests, his character is loosely based on Ishikawa Goemon, the noble thief of Japanese folklore. While the early games of this title emphasized Goemon as a noble thief, he eventually becomes more of a standard video game hero character. His trademarks are his blue bushy hair and weapon of choice, the kiseru. The games are set in a cartoon-like, mystical Feudal Japan. Within this world, every bit of folklore and legend about Japan is true. Although the series has its roots in action adventure, the Ganbare Goemon series has features from genres including RPG, puzzle games, and board games. Ganbare Goemon has proven to be widely popular in Japan with its many video games, with its success spawning a wide series of merchandise and an anime and manga series.Only five of its games have been released overseas: The Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the Super Nintendo, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon and Goemon's Great Adventure for the Nintendo 64 and two titles for the Game Boy.The last original game of the series was Ganbare Goemon: Tōkai Dōchū Ōedo Tengu ri Kaeshi no Maki, released exclusively in Japan for the Nintendo DS in 2005. Since then, the series has been used primarily as themes for Konami's pachislot machines. The future of the series is uncertain.

Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishijūrokubē no Karakuri Manji Gatame (がんばれゴエモン3～獅子重禄兵衛のからくり卍固め～?) is a Ganbare Goemon series video game released for the Super Famicom, and the third one for that console. It follows the protagonist Goemon as he struggles to recover Wise Man, who has been imprisoned by the evil nun Bismaru far in the future. The game is the first in the series in which the classical quartet (Goemon, Ebisumaru, Sasuke and Yae) are all playable, the magical abilities of the four characters are introduced (Goemon's Sudden Impact and Yae's Mermaid magic for example) and also the first one in which Yae is a playable character in the main series.This installment takes a radical departure from other games in the series, where they were arranged in levels and worlds. In this case, the areas are totally interconnected, similar to The Legend of Zelda series, including the use of certain items in order to pass certain inaccessible areas.

Gemfire (released in Japan as Royal Blood or ロイヤルブラッド Roiyaru Buraddo, Super Royal Blood or スーパーロイヤルブラッド Sūpā Roiyaru Buraddo in its Super Famicom version) is a medieval war game for the MSX, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, FM Towns, Mega Drive/Genesis, MS-DOS, and later Windows, developed by Koei. The object in the game is to unify a fictional island by force. Players use soldiers and knights, as well as fantasy units such as magicians, dragons or gargoyles in order to capture the castle needed to control that particular territory.A sequel, Royal Blood II, was released in the Japan market for Japanese Windows.

Denjinmakai (電神魔傀?) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up programmed by Winkysoft and published by Banpresto that was originally released as a coin-operated arcade game on February 1, 1994. It was later ported to the Super Famicom under the title Ghost Chaser Densei (ゴーストチェイサー電精?), which was released on September 23, 1994.In 1995, it received a sequel known as either Denjinmakai II (電神魔傀II?) or Guardians (ガーディアンズ?).

Ghoul Patrol is a Super Nintendo video game that is a sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors. It was released in September 1994 by LucasArts and later on the Wii Virtual Console in North America on January 25, 2010 and the PAL region on May 14, 2010. A Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version published by Virgin Interactive was also to be released, but it was cancelled before launch.

An SNES Game based on Go! Go! Ackman (ゴーゴーアックマン) is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama that was published irregularly by V-Jump from 1993 to 1994. It is also featured in Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater Vol. 3. Go! Go! Ackman is a humorous series about a 200-year-old demon child named Ackman who harvests souls for the Dark Devil Lord.

Gods is a 1991 video game by The Bitmap Brothers where the player is cast as Hercules in his quest to achieve immortality. The game was first made for Amiga and Atari ST computers and then ported for various other platforms. Like other Bitmap Brothers' games, Gods was highly praised by critics thanks to the quality graphics and music.The enemy AI was praised - it would adapt not only to the player position, but also to his skill. Some rooms contain inaccessible items - smaller "thieves" show up from a passage in the wall, try to grab the item and bring it back to another point in the room or disappear with it. The player is able to obtain the item if they shoot the thief at the correct time. Bonuses are awarded for reaching certain parts of the level under a certain limit of time or number of lives, bringing an object to a room or simply by playing poorly, where the game helps the player.As was common with Bitmap Brothers, an external musician assured the game score, this time John Foxx as Nation 12.[1] The box cover illustration was designed by the British comic book artist Simon Bisley.
